Meet Rowen F. Asprodites

Bio

Rowen Asprodites is a Partner with Pusateri, Johnston, Guillot & Greenbaum. She has been with the firm since its inception in 2014, practicing in the area of admiralty and maritime litigation. She has assisted in representing offshore and marine service contractors in a variety of matters involving Jones Act defense, maintenance and cure issues, § 905(b) longshore claims, personal injury, death, vessel collisions and allisions, prosecution and defense of maritime liens and vessel arrest actions, defense and indemnity issues, property damage, as well as products liability and environmental/toxic tort defense. Ms. Asprodites has been consistently recognized as a Rising Star in Louisiana Super Lawyers every year, since 2014.

Ms. Asprodites is actively involved in several community and professional organizations. She is currently a member of the Maritime Law Association, serving as secretary to the Inland Waters and Towing Committee. She is also actively involved with the Southeastern Admiralty Law Institute (“SEALI”), where she presently serves as a board member on the long-range planning committee. At SEALI’s most recent Spring 2022 meeting, Ms. Asprodites presented on the Limitation of Liability Act, 46 U.S.C. §§30501, et seq. Locally, she is an active member of the New Orleans Bar Association, Louisiana Bar Association, Women’s International Shipping and Trade Association, and Mariner’s Club of the Port of New Orleans. Ms. Asprodites is also involved in several other organizations which aid the local community. She participates in the Annual Bad to the Bone: Rescued on the Runway Fashion Show benefiting the Humane Society of Louisiana and other local animal rescue groups. She was also a member of The Good Shepard School Fall fundraising committee which provides an exceptional education program to at-risk, under-served children in the City of New Orleans.
