Meet Ross A. Ledet
Bio
Ross A. Ledet was born and raised on the bayous of Terrebonne Parish, Louisiana, but has considered New Orleans home since his time in law school. Mr. Ledet graduated in the top twenty percent of his class and earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Louisiana State University in 2007, where he was also named to the Dean’s List.
In 2010, Mr. Ledet earned his Juris Doctorate from Tulane University Law School in New Orleans, Louisiana. During his third year, he participated in an externship with the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, where he investigated workplace claims under Title VII, the ADA, and the ADEA. While at Tulane, Mr. Ledet was an active member of the Business Law Society and was honored with the Terrebonne Bar Association Scholarship.
After law school, Mr. Ledet began his legal career as a staff attorney for a non-profit legal aid organization, providing free legal services to low-income residents throughout Terrebonne Parish. He then served as a law clerk for the Honorable John R. Walker of the 32nd Judicial District Court in Houma, Louisiana. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Ledet was a partner at a general practice law firm in New Orleans, where he specialized in defending a major political subdivision of the state of Louisiana, handling numerous personal injury, premises liability, and employment matters.
Mr. Ledet has built a distinguished legal career practicing across Louisiana. He is skilled in resolving disputes efficiently through mediation, always prioritizing his clients’ interests at every stage of litigation. He has also demonstrated exceptional appellate advocacy, securing favorable outcomes in various Louisiana Courts of Appeal, the Louisiana Supreme Court, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit.
In addition to his legal practice, Mr. Ledet is an active member of Council 3411 of the Knights of Columbus and volunteers his time as a youth soccer coach with Carrollton Boosters.
