Meet Aaron B. Greenbaum
Bio
Aaron’s practice focuses on brown water and blue water maritime matters, excess liabilities, and land-based torts. He regularly represents clients in defense of Jones Act and 905(b) claims, Limitation of Liability actions, cargo claims, offshore platform and rig incidents, vessel collisions, tug and tow, offshore casualties, maritime liens, bunker disputes, Rule C vessel arrest and Rule B attachment, insurance coverage and defense and indemnity disputes, maritime bankruptcy, and commercial litigation. He also represents clients in transactional matters including drafting and negotiating bunker contracts, charter parties, towage agreements, and master service agreements.
Aaron has been designated as a Proctor in Admiralty by the Maritime Law Association of the United States and currently serves as chair of its the Website and Technology Committee. He recently earned his P&IQ Certificate, completing the first three modules of the International Group’s P&I Qualification (P&IQ) programme.
He is significantly involved with the American Bar Association’s Tort Trial & Insurance Practice Section. Aaron has been elected to serve on the ABA TIPS Council and currently serves on the Scope and Correlation Committee. He previously served as Chair of the Admiralty and Maritime Law Committee for ABA TIPS. He also previously chaired the New Orleans Bar Association Young Lawyers Council.
